A Key to Lead Life with Dignity and Prosperity

  Sumitra Mukhi

This is the story of a tribal woman, Sumitra Mukhi. She is simple, down to earth, introvert and fun loving. One can always find smile on her face under any circumstances. She enjoys every moment of her life with confidence and zeal. The most important thing, she often used to say: "I have no complaint against any one for anything (Mujhe Kisi Se Kisi Bhi Cheez Ke Bare Mein Koi Sikayat Nahin Hai)."

Like every girl, she also had a wish to get married with a handsome, diligent, hardworking groom, who loved her, cared her and stood by her under all circumstances. Finally, that special day came and she got married to her dream boy in the year 2001. Her husband was driver by profession and most of time, he used to travel.  She was spending her life happily. This situation caused some problem but the moment became precious, when she conceived for the first time.

When she delivered a cute baby, all her grievances were wiped out and brought a plethora of happiness to her. Now she considered herself as the most fortunate women in all entire world. Everything was going well.

It is obvious that you never know when the life will turn up, yes, after giving so much of happiness to Simitra. Her life turned up badly. She was trapped in economic crisis as her husband failed to take care of the family. This problem compelled her to go of home in order to search some other mean of earning money. She used to offer service to her neighbour as care giver. Through this way she used to cater the needs to her family.

Long hour of her service prevented her reached home at time.  As she had more to serve. But, now she became able to manage the things properly but her job created two impressions. On one hand, Sumitra became self-reliant and could arrange some extra income for household chores. On the other side, her husband left his job and became entirely dependent on Sumitra’s Income. She had no complaints, but the moment she broke up her silence, her husband started blaming and raised questions towards her nature. This situation created hurdled in their family life and their baby suffered a lot. Secondly, the mutual trust has lost. For both of them spending life became difficult.  Husband of sumitra wanted to reconcile the whole situation and one again wanted her back. Somewhere, he had fear of losing his wife and kid too.

Once, he had heard about organisation's intervention titled Family Counselling Centre. He obtained information about the counselling centre and thereafter approached and filed application for seeking advice with a hope and drops of tears in eye. He elaborated the whole story to the counsellor. After listening to the whole story, the counsellor started counselling separately and together. The whole situation handled tactfully and finally the case has been solved. They confessed a bit of distrust can destroy the life of any individual or family and now, they are spending their life as before. In fact with more love more trust…
