Shelter Home for Orphan Children

A performance for the children of the orphanage

Every child has right to grow in a safe and encouraging environment. Each one of them has right to have equal access to quality education, primary health facilities, food, clothing and shelter at the right time.

Millions of children are trafficked every year and they are pushed to work in discouraging environment, and many subjected to child abuse. This is not only increasing their health concern but also drawing our attention towards overall degradation of status of children. This is simply violation of National Children Policy. Keeping view of emerging trends of child migration and trafficking, various forms of child exploitations mainly child abuse encourage SMVM to work for minimising these issues.

The organisation has established a shelter home for destitute, orphans, etc., with the aim to provide all necessary facilities to such children and provide them opportunities to explore learning. It provides variety of services, which mainly include equal access to quality education in a formal and non-formal set-up, providing primary health care and recreational facilities and moreover, to make them self-reliant, the organisation provides vocational trainings on various trades depending on individual needs and interests.
